Jamie and Andrea have hired a staff of running enthusiasts that are dedicated to providing the same outstanding customer service and welcome the chance to share their diverse experience and love for the sport.

Ed Ablan

Ed hails from Katy Texas, but is originally from Venezuela. He took up running seriously a few years ago, and is currently training for many events including cross country. He is majoring in Electrical Engineering at UT, and speaks Spanish fluently. He loves food and loves eating.

Scott Phelps

Scott comes to us all the way from Illinois, where he grew up. He started running in junior high school, and he immediately became hooked. He eventually attended college at the University of Illinois, where he was a middle distance runner on the track team. He moved to Austin recently to help coach the University of Texas track and cross country team as a volunteer assistant. When he's not running, he enjoys being outside in any capacity, be it hiking, swimming, or riding his bike. He still enjoys running, but is now more focused on fitness than in chasing fast times on the track.

Kyle Kemp

New to the running community, Kyle has quickly come to love the sport. He's committed to working hard to become the best runner he can be. You can often spot him running on the roads of west Austin and on Town Lake. He is a current UT student and a strong supporter of "going local".

Pia-Maria Molin

Pia-Maria grew up in Northern Sweden, close to the Arctic Circle. As there is nothing to do up there other than shoot reindeer and drink moonshine, she got into sport at an early age. After years of alpine skiing, horse riding, soccer and jazz dancing she decided to try cross country skiing and skijoring (xc skiing with dogs). She loved it and because she was tall and skinny was actually pretty good at it. She started running during the off season to stay fit, and ended up being pretty good at that too. As running on sheet ice tends to be a somewhat dangerous exercise, she chose to focus on the skijoring and xc skiing.

After spending six years in the Swedish national skijoring team, Pia-Maria had had enough and focused more on running. She started working part-time for her coach in his specialty running store in 2000 and ran competitively while studying at University.

She moved to Texas in 2008 to follow her fantastic husband (who is great at writing biographies for his wife). After the initial climate shock, and realizing that getting decent snow in Texas is about as likely as UT giving up Football, she now focuses her efforts on running with an eye on getting into Triathlon in the future. Swimming is proving to be an altogether different challenge and being older, fatter with a penchant for margaritas and Mexican food is not helping much either. But one should never give up hope.

Andi Mittel

Andi is currently enrolled in High School here in Austin, TX. Just a few years ago she picked up cross country and soon thereafter fell in love with running. Andi enjoys being outdoors and taking on new adventures- from learning to unicycle to camping. In her spare time, she likes to take her dogs to local parks and play water volleyball.

David Hodges

David is a native texan who has been in Austin for about 3 years, he's happy to call this place home for many reason's but mainly for the active community that is austin. He's been running for about 4 years and as of a year ago taken up trail running and is currently training for his first trail ultra this coming year. Loves taking new people out on trail runs and enjoys long runs out in the greenbelt. Love's food, especially his carbs(donuts) like most runners.

Troy Moon

Troy grew up in Iowa and started running with his dad when he was around 10 years old. After a few 5K's he was hooked. He enjoys trail running, cycling, Taekwondo and just about any endurance sport you can do outside. In his free time you can find him playing with his two boys, two dogs, and his wife around Austin.

Andrew Shi

Andrew is a native of Austin and enjoys running the best trails in town to burn off the calories from the best restaurants and trailers in town. In addition to running, he supplements his athletic regimen with healthy doses of cycling, basketball, weightlifting, and soccer. He recently discovered trail running, and can now be found furiously ascending the killer steps of River Place Nature Trail on a daily basis.
